CLAIRE MORRISON
Hi! I'm Claire and I'm a Football Quantitative Methods Associate for the Minnesota Vikings where I work on a mix of personnel and coaching-related projects. I spent 2 seasons as a Football Data Scientist for the Jacksonville Jaguars doing in-game analytics for the offensive line and run game coordinator, advanced analytic opponent scouting, report generation for sports performance/ strength & conditioning staff as well as player valuation work. I grew up in Sacramento, California and after being a lifelong Michigan sports fan, graduated from the University of Michigan in 2016 with a BS. At U of M, I worked on research aimed to understand the genetic and environmental influences of life stressors on health. I worked for 2 years post-undergrad as a Research Assistant in the Medical School examining neurological and psychiatric response to cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety and depression. I completed a PhD in Behavioral, Psychiatric & Statistical Genetics at Colorado Boulder in 2023 where I studied a multitude of traits and behaviors, but my dissertation focused on elucidating the genetic architecture of sleep health and how sleep relates to external outcomes.
